Ken Jacobsen founded the company in 2006. He previously served as Executive Vice President of a national health claims administrator, President of a healthcare coalition, and Senior Vice President and Partner of an actuarial, benefits, and human resources consulting firm. Since establishing CourageWorks he has successfully delivered leadership and business consulting services to diverse clients including PRIMEDIA, First Command Financial Services, State Farm Insurance, XL Associates, Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Concerted Services, Inc., ADVA Optical Networking, Coastal Regional Commission, Georgia Community Action Association, Midland Lutheran College, High Road Craft Ice Cream, Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta, 2nd Story Goods, Georgia Department of Behavior Health and Developmental Disabilities, the Secretan Center, and East Central Regional Hospital.Additionally, he has served as executive coach to over 50 senior leaders and managers, and has facilitated numerous personal growth workshops serving over a thousand participants. Mr. Jacobsen obtained his B.A. from Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts and completed the acclaimed Executive Program at the University of Michigan. Ken has earned a faculty designation with The Secretan Center in Toronto, Canada, a global consulting practice specializing in cultural and leadership transformation. He has expanded his range by studying alternative modalities at Global Relationship Centers in Austin, Texas, the Center for Inner Knowing in Atlanta, Georgia, the Animas Valley Institute in Durango, Colorado, and The Difference Engine in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a certified instructor and coach for Your Infinite Life Training and Coaching Company in St. Louis, Missouri.
