Second duty location was Anchorage, Alaska, where we worked more with Mountain and High-Altitude rescue and cold-water SCUBA operations. SCUBA accident with faulty equipment led to my premature medical discharge from the military. No functional sequelae have yet surfaced and I still enjoy diving.
