After attending U.S. Army Airborne school, U.S. Navy SCUBA School, U.S. Air Force Medical Technician School, U.S. Air Force Survival School, U.S. Air Force Heavylift Helicopter and Pararescue Schools in CONUS (Team Leader throughout training), was transferred to Thailand (NKP, Korat air bases) for first deployment. Second duty location was Anchorage, Alaska, where we worked more with Mountain and High-Altitude rescue and cold-water SCUBA operations. SCUBA accident with faulty equipment led to my premature medical discharge from the military. No functional sequelae have yet surfaced and I still enjoy diving.
