- Evaluate new and existing opportunities, identify and pursue business development and M&A opportunities in the territory to further the growth and profitability of Northern Western China IG- Accountable for JV management, asset management, project execution and ASU, Gasification and Purification franchise development;- Responsible for productivity, cost management of all assets with support from all other functions like plant operations, supply chain, BDS etc.;- Develop and maintain customer engagement plan, interface with customer’s high-level people on a regular basis, maintain close relationship with customer;- Lead and work with different functions to drive government interface like tax, duties, utilities, business license/permits, safety/quality authorities, park officers etc., playing as a key contact when dealing with external issues, representing AP and coordinate internal resources to provide timely feedback; - Drive revenue and profitability by managing costs, optimize assets to achieve financial and Safety targets.- Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices. - Support sub-region GM to drawing up the 5 Year Plan and aligning the Sub Regional Strategy to China 5Yr Strategy

• • Business Dimension: average annual sales of about US$1.0 Billion, composed of full ranges of business solutions in industrial gases, coal gasification, hydrogen energy supply;• Report to China President and is a member of China Leadership team;• Overall leadership responsibility of development of complex investment projects across China, including M&A, Joint Venture, Strategic Alliances, partnering with or serving large State-Owned Enterprises, as well as private companies/FIEs. Please refer to deal list attachment for details;• Lead formulation of related internal business strategy and cross functional work processes;• Work proactively with sub regional, functional and global business unit management to ensure the effective opportunity development; execution and integration of acquisition projects to realize China Strategic plans of the region;• Maintain an active professional network supporting Strategic and M&A activities such as owners of potential 3rd party businesses, venture capital, private equity, transaction support services, and corporate development functions.

• Business Dimension: 120+ annual investment projects worth over USD 2.5 billion across Asia in greenfield plants, Joint Ventures, M&A, Divestitures, Sale of Equipments and Optimization investments within existing asset portfolio.• Functional manager of 6 Business Finance teams composed of 4 China regional teams and the Asia Central Investment Analysis team, including 4 China regional controllers and 16 financial analysts• Partnership with Asia and China Management, the Large Project BD, China Onsite BD, Corporate M&A, and China Sub-region business teams, leading/coordinating functional teams within Finance including Treasury, Tax and Accounting, to make sound capital allocation decisions in pursuing and winning investment projects of various kinds, formulate new innovative business solutions to drive top line growth from new devices and offerings, and to develop a cost structure and associated processes for the business to enable it to remain competitive in a dynamic marketplace.• Board Director of three joint ventures in China with local production in Beijing, Jiangsu and Shandong

• Business Dimension: USD 2.0 Billion annual sales, composed of full ranges of industrial gases solution ranging from Package Gases, MicroBulk, Liquid Bulk, to pipeline supply from small Generated Gases onsite plants, Electronics Tonnage onstie plant, to Large Air Separation Units. • Report to Asia Financial Controller• Manager of 5 Business Decision Support teams composed of 4 China regional teams and the Asia Consolidation team, including 4 China regional controllers and 12 financial analysts• Overall accountability of financial planning & analysis, control and compliance in support of ongoing business operations in China• Overall accountability of financial reporting and analysis at total Asia level, and Asia business results reporting in support of Results Release of Air Products to the public at NYSE• Board Director of three joint ventures in China with local production in Beijing, Jiangsu and Shandong

• Report directly to Controller of Asia Business Development and China Industrial Gases• Day to day functional business partner with China Industrial Gases Business Developement and Asset Management Directors (Large Air Separation Units, and GenGas/Electronics Onsites, respectively), instrumental in commercial strategy formulation, opitmal deal structuring from both business and financial perspective, risk assessment and mitigation, act as key negotiation team memeber as necessary.• Center of Excellence for Investment Project Analysis to the whole Asia Decision Support/Controllership organization, working with Corporate Treasury owning the investment project analysis policy establishment and maintenance.• Lead regional project analysis team to support critical investment decisions for Industrial Gases Asia, including greenfield plant investment, Leasing, M&A, Divestitures, Joint Ventures, Sale of Equipments, Asset Optimization opportunities, etc.• Internal investment approval process owner, ensuring application package integrity and compliance with internal delegation of authority and governing standards/policies.

• Report directly to Global Controller of the Division and Asia VP, provide financial and business counsel to the PMD Asia VP and the Asia Business teams(Sales, Marketing, Asset Management, Supply Chain, CI, Sourcing, etc.) through active participation with the business leadership team, acting as the business interface with all finance disciplines.• Ensure the financial integrity of the business decision process by implementing analytical policy in the region, participating in the analysis, review and approval of investment and business transactions, establishing and managing operational analysis and reporting, and facilitating the development of the operating plan targets.• Contribute directly to the financial results of the region through close business support, involvement in productivity projects, and participation in key negotiations as appropriate.• Work towards alignment between the Asia region and APCI headquarters for the business and functional goals and for financial practices. • Ensure functional independence and appropriate management and financial controls for Asia through complying with corporate policies, taking contrary positions where necessary, and ensuring that audit issues are addressed in a timely manner• Serve as a primary link between the Performance Materials business and the Asia Shared Services Organization, Treasury, Tax, plus the corporate functions based in Asia and Allentown.• Provide key financial support for acquisition activities in Asia through the analysis, due diligence and integration processes.• Serve as member of the Asia Finance Leadership Team, participate in the financial & control policy making, formulation and execution of annual plan for key financial projects/organization development & hiring/ performance appraisal and talent training & development. • Serve as a member of the global project analysis council for governance and improvement of investment analysis policy/methodology across the whole company.

- Large Capital Investment Projects (Large Air Separation Unit, Large Hydrogen plant, Coal Gasification complex, etc. with investment up to $700 Million for a single project, project type includes wholly owned opportunities, joint ventures and M&A) Evaluation for TGEE(Tonnage Gases, Energy, Equipment) SBU, detailed scope includes: 1. Financial Modeling/Analysis, 2. Risk Assessment, 3. qualitative/quantitative Credit Analysis, 4. Deal structuring (repatriation tax impact analysis for cross border deals, etc.), 5. Overall Project Evaluation/Feasibility Study, Capital Forecasting- Operational/Business Analysis 1. Cost To Serve pricing model development and relevant pricing/costing analysis for plant operation and various product lines through the APAC region2. Trend Analysis, rolling forecast, consolidation of financial results on monthly/quarterly basis3. Lead regional Budget/Operating Plan preparation for TGEE (Tonnage Gas, Energy and Equipment) SBU.

- Assist the China VP on participation in key government and commercial events across China representing the IMC Group - Participate in the design, communication and execution of the China strategic development plan of the IMC Group - Support internal high level evaluation of potential strategic investment opportunities and partners. - Lead individual investment project up to closure

- Specialize in M&A (Direct Investment-Industrial) projects, work scope includes but not limited to : project searching/development, Financial Modeling and Analysis, participate in contract negotiation & Legal Documents drafting, overall coordination of project Due Diligence Investigation as the DD team leader- Served as the team leader in coordinating and successfully accomplished projects including: 1. a new building materials manufacturing company in Tianjin in 2nd half of 2004, establishing a JV with a SOE; 2. one of the largest shipyards in China located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, in 1st half of 2005. Investment of the project totals up to about USD 100 million, establishing a JV with local entrepreneur.

・ Bulk Carrier Chartering : Time Charter / Voyage Charter / COA execution, Freight and Chater Party negotiation, fleet scheduling, bunkering, etc.・ Shipping Operation: voyage instruction to vessels, voyaging planning, coordination with vessel and port agent, etc.・ Post Fixture/accounting: freight rate invoicing, fund chasing, freight claim handling based on Charter Party and BIMCO terms etc.・ Market Research & Analysis: monitoring latest market movement, international freight market study and forecast, feasibility study as member of various projects’ teams( i.e. ship Sales& Purchase, investment projects, etc.), report composition( annual commercial performance report, etc.)・ ISO Internal Quality Auditor
