Manage and deliver the mechanical tasks associated with rotating equipment including the large machine outages at the North Tees work.To manage,develope and supervise Sabic mechanical team.Ensure the team adhere to high safety and quality requirements and also that the support is there so jobs can be carried out safely and to the correct standards.Ensure mechanical tasks are completed on time and in full.

I work as part of the engineering maintenance team as a mechanical technician on a range of machines and equipment including reciprocating compressors, pumps and valves. SABIC north tees refinery is a top tier COMAH site with a world class safety record.My role includes:• Deputy first line manager• Site maintenance• Planning of jobs using SAP• Ordering spares • Accepting permits• Method statements • Risk assessments • Attending daily site safety briefs• Core group member of the ethylene excellence programme

Previously Marske Machine co, Allen Gwynnes pumps and MF sealing company.I worked within the pump and valve service centre with 24 hour callout facility. On site duties include removal and fitting of pumps, seal changes on boiler feed pump and glass lined agitators. I have worked alongside Flowserve Service Engineers in power stations across the country assisting in unit upgrades and overhauls. Worked on Wilton power station as lead technician on the build up and alignment of matter and platt boiler feed pumps this involved a train alignment including a fluid drive coupling.Balancing of rotors using shenk machine to tolerance required.
