Currently writing! Author of the award winning, best-selling series The Dead Sagas - a Norse inspired dark fantasy zombie horror series. Also involved in various commercial writing projects of other fiction too, primarily speculative fiction, dark SFF, historical fiction, and horror. Still an experienced musician and music teacher, but now I wear many hats and am working heavily as a writer, and am involved in publishing work, collaborative writing contracts, and some voice acting and audio narration. I also still currently contract as a specialist talent headhunter in the games sector, alongside teaching music part time. As I say - many hats, but although I enjoy the variety, I am open to that one full-time role to really focus my skills into and take my career in a cool new direction! I was most recently employed in the games sector as a specialist recruiter and headhunter, providing talent to the computer games industry and doing copywriting for the games sector - I am open to further work in this area. I am now also open to any freelance writing work, both contract or via direct employment. I am looking for an interesting project, and can bring professionally tested skills including: content copywriting, any fiction, radio drama scripting, television or film scripting, narrative design. I am open to work as an English Literature and Creative Writing lecturer, or as a specialist guitar / music lecturer role. In my free time, I'm a Historical Martial Arts instructor at Wolfshead Martial Arts. I am a specialist in several historical longsword styles, and also practice some other historical weapons too, such as military sabre. I have played guitar professionally for over two decades prior to working in games and writing, mostly playing heavy metal and rock, but lots of jazz and blues too. I also still freelance as an audio engineer. I have over 20 years experience teaching in private education and in schools, I also taught as the senior guitar tutor at some of the largest music schools on UK's east coast, and have written advanced guitar theory textbooks which now sell worldwide.
