Managed and negotiated company contracts with attorneys and business people, including membership agreements, licensing, commercial real estate transactions, vendor agreements, confidentiality contracts, and employment agreements. • Litigation Management. Directed and determined litigation strategy for all business disputes. Most matters handled in-house to control costs.• Human Resources. Led internal investigations and mounted defenses to claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, and age discrimination. Developed company personnel policies and procedures. Drafted and filed H-1B, EAD, EB-2 and EB-3 immigration documentation for foreign employees. • Intellectual Property. Supervised company’s intellectual property portfolio. Addressed and resolved infringement by others, and defended claims of infringement by outside businesses. • Employee Hiring and Supervision. Eye for hiring and managing quality talent. Oversaw hundreds of employees on a variety of business projects and legal matters. • Corporate Formation and Risk Management. Made sure the company and all of its subsidiaries were properly incorporated and continued to abide by all applicable rules and regulations.
