I'm a son of Miami Beach who has lived in New York City before my "Saturn returned" and sent me to Los Angeles. Now I'm living my best life on a global scale, I've worked in communications + marketing my entire professional life. I'm blessed with great friends, loving partners (in life & work), a high threshold for late nights, + a knack for creating memorable pop culture moments and important conversations. I'm a consummate creative in the format of a publicist. I have big ideas and a bigger mouth to back it up. I take every meeting and call request (just ask me.) I plan on always wearing sneakers and a baseball cap to every meeting for the rest of my life. I also live on a regiment of Rumble Boxing, Radiohead, ceviche, expensive sweaters and Nike AirMax. The finer things in life. After a decade of working in-house at leading brands, I started Kenwerks in 2009. My first communications firm was a one-stop destination for launching fashion brands and reformulating the success of global companies to take themselves to the next level. We infused brands with emotional touch points that bring meaning to their name, allowing customers to relate to creative DNA and become vocal fans. Using these touch points, we brought brands and designers to the media and into the celebrity fashion matrix. A Los Angeles based company with offices in New York, we covered public relations and product placement needs from the highly coveted celebrity world to the top fashion publications. We were not just a PR firm, our service formula was - part Brand Management, part Creative Marketing - bringing our expertise to strategy, online press, advertising, & events. After 8 successful years, I sold this company to a bigger agency for a lot more than it was worth. I learned a valuable life lesson..."never sell your company." As one chapter closed another began. In 2016, I met a person who would forever change my life. Clara Jeon has taught me so much about myself as my business partner in Chapter 2. Together we have created the next-generation communication company built on working with the leading creators of culture in industries that we personally connect with. Focused on luxury, designer fashion, streetwear/sneakers, retail, weed, Web3, contemporary art, social impact and sustainability. We work with an amazing team across offices in NYC, LA and MIAMI. Every day we work projects that change our industry and impact change in the world. This is our dream turned reality. Our self expression of wanting to do it better & different.
