• Calculated stress in gears, shafts, bearings, and gear cases for the Osprey tilt rotor aircraft transmission which is now used in combat by the US Military.• Designed gears, bearings, and shafts for light and medium helicopter transmissions.• Compiled stress/life expectancy reports and supervised required testing. These reports successfully met the requirements of defense contracts. • Collaborated on NASA research project that extended the combat flight time of a damaged helicopter transmission.
