I am a third year student at Michigan State University majoring in Animal Science with a concentration of Pre-Veterinary Medicine. After having shadowed a veterinarian in various surgeries, working at a Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant, Boarding Attendant and Receptionist, as well as assisting in research at a Humane Society near my University, my love for animals has grown just as much as my knowledge has. Having the five CliftonStrengths of positivity, achiever, adaptability, learner, and maximizer have shown through in my work as well as my academics. With veterinary school in my near future, the process to reach my goals hasn't always been easy, but by staying positive, adapting to tough academic courses, striving to be the best version of myself and finding enjoyment in every course that I have taken thus far has made it a lot easier to meet my goals and will overall help me in my journey to Veterinary school.
