Manage team and ensure that Product Changes (ECOs) and Component management Processes are effective and efficient. Responsible for implementation of new PLM system into business processes / Develop Product Environmental (RoHS, REACH, etc) Program to: - Monitor changes to Environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH etc)- Ensure Products comply with current regulations. - Develop and refine Processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Develop Component Engineering role within Teledyne Dalsa. Activities include: - Comp Eng Team Lead- Component Engineering Process development- New Part Approval Process - Component Failure Analysis- Supplier Corrective Action- PCN & Obsolescence Management- Approved Vendor List (AVL) - Preferred Vendor List- Contract Manufacturer Interface- RoHS and REACH compliance

Ensure that product portfolio is compliant with international Hazardous Material or Environmental Legislation (RoHS, China RoHS). Review and manage component change notices to minimize product risk.

Initiated and managed a component change & obsolescence management program and team to ensure vendor component changes are effectively controlled.

Manage day-to-day activities of 2 to 4 Product Engineers & perform Annual Performance activities. Continue to resolve issues from customers, manufacturing and design support groups.

Resolve technical design issues from Customers, Manufacturing, Approvals, and Design Support Groups as Product Design Authority.
