Following are the highlights of the value I brought to Drug Enforcement Administration, North Central Laboratory: I provide scientific information based on instrumental and data analysis in order to support law enforcement and intelligence communities with the enforcement of controlled substance laws and regulation of the United States. Entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), GC, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometers.  Analyzed 6450+ exhibits and identified the presence of controlled substances through multiple spectrophotometric, chromatographic, and wet chemical techniques.  Assisted management with the training of law enforcement / chemists in a Level-A Clandestine Laboratory Safety class (x2).  Delivered administrative support to agents with seizure and dismantling of clandestine laboratories.  Qualified as an expert witness in the field of Forensic Chemistry over 30 times in Federal and State court.  Ensured smooth functioning of operations, while serving as a Heroin Signature Monitor (HSP) and NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) Coordinator.  Utilized STARLIMS and LabX networking systems for data analysis / acquisition in compliance with current ANSI – ASQ National Accreditation and DEA guidelines.  Spearheaded operations as an Acting Supervisory Chemist, including assigning evidence for analysis, reviewing analysis / reports, attending management meeting, and communicating information to staff to streamline operations efficiently.
