Provided analysis of data to identify trends, and created strategies and procedures to reduce accident rates, reduce the severity of injuries and prevent recurrences. • Responsible for identifying and resolving environmental hazards, ensured facility inspection from State and Federal agencies were issue free. Created and continual trained the spill response team in accordance with Coast Guard and Marsec regulations. • Redesigned and brought the Hazardous Waste site up to EPA and the Department of Health standards. • Implemented a waste thinner and solvent recycling program, which lowered the companies hazardous waste footprint and saving $10,000 a year.• Developed a Scaffolding Trade which exceeded Company expectations and provides a substantial income with potential for considerable growth. • Interfaces with Federal, State, and local government/ regulatory inspectors and Insurance providers.• Provides technical advice, coaching and guidance on Health and Safety requirements.
