I feel privileged to have graduated from Seoul National University with a double major in Applied Biology and Chemistry, and I further pursued my passion for bioinformatics by successfully obtaining a Master's degree in the same field.My professional journey commenced as a Researcher at Macrogen Inc., where I had the distinct privilege of contributing to various impactful projects at the prestigious Bioinformatics Institute of Macrogen. During this time, I was also grateful to participate in an Alternative Program as part of the Korean mandatory military service, allowing me to serve my country while earnestly applying my expertise in data analysis and computational biology.Subsequently, I had the humbling opportunity to join LG Chem, where I have spent several years as an Associate and now as a Senior Research Scientist (Professional) in the Life Science R&D division, specifically in the esteemed Drug Discovery Center. My tenure at LG Chem has been truly rewarding and diverse, encompassing NGS-related bioinformatics projects, CRISPR and neoantigen analysis, AI applications, and molecular research.My career has been profoundly shaped by a combination of rigorous academic training and invaluable hands-on experience, particularly in the fields of NGS data analysis, machine learning, and bioinformatics. I am keenly interested in and passionate about exploring novel approaches to scientific analysis and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation in the life sciences industry.With a proven track record in research, data analysis, and problem-solving, I am incredibly enthusiastic about further contributing my skills and expertise to the advancement of bioinformatics and the life sciences.
