Ken Giffen has been an Account Manager for the Ontario region at Export Development Canada (EDC) since 2006. He sells and advises presidents and CFOs of companies with revenues between $10 and $750 million on financial products to assist in their market expansions globally. His territory covers Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket, and Aurora as well as key accounts within the Greater Toronto Area. Ken often speaks at various events throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Ken has his Bachelor of Business Administration from Trent University in Peterborough and is currently pursuing his MBA through Queen’s University in Kingston. In addition he holds a designation as a Certified International Trade Professional through Centennial College and Concordia University. Ken also studied at the European Business Management School at the University of Wales as part of his undergraduate degree. Ken has lived, studied and worked in Sweden, Wales, Panama and Taiwan. EDC is Canada’s export credit agency, offering innovative commercial solutions to help Canadian exporters and investors expand their international business. EDC’s knowledge and partnerships are used by more than 8,400 Canadian companies and their global customers in up to 200 markets worldwide each year. EDC is financially self-sustaining, and is a recognized leader in financial reporting and economic analysis.
