My friends and peers would see me as a dependable and visionary person who makes the effort to try and get things done while foreseeing an idea and planning it meticulously. As for me, I would also see myself as a creative person who doesn't just follow the rules but also learn how to bend them.I'm a UI/UX and Game Designer with about six years of experience in creating digital apps and games. Since 2016 I have been pursuing studying interactive digital media such as games at Republic Polytechnic and SIT Digipen Institute of Technology Singapore. I'm proficient in Unity, C#, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. Other than my technical skills, I learned to be understanding, and approachable to others, and how to effectively communicate my ideas.I like learning and developing new skills that would help broaden my knowledge in an ever-changing digital world that I'll be working in the near future. I would consider myself a generalist as I have exposure to both artistic and technical software. Being a generalist gives me an advantage in adapting to either field of study while also understanding the perspectives of working with people from either field. I would also consider myself a visionary as I have taken lead roles in projects and written extensive documents to express my ideas and concepts. My greatest achievement is solo developing a game prototype in Digipen that would become a blueprint for one of my school projects once I have a full team of people specializing in different fields. Before joining Digipen, I had little to no experience in C# which is needed to code games in Unity. The first year in Digipen was exhausting and stressful but I learned a lot about C# and Unity. Along with some self-learning, I have made games that are functional and fun to play.Now that you know more about me, I'm looking forward to meeting and working with like-minded individuals such as yourselves.
