My responsibilities include, Assessing and investigating clients’ claims to identify a potential lawsuit Advising clients on the legal issues involved in their claims and the potential avenues for dispute resolution. Drafting pleadings including plaints, witness statements, affidavits, petitions and claims to be lodged at Court. Liaising with the opposing counsel and parties on behalf of our client. Identifying potential alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in cases where parties have opted for an out of court dispute resolution option. Carrying out discovery and pretrial for cases pending trial. Arguing motions in Court Representing clients in court

My responsibilities included; Attending Court sessions and recording proceedings; Drafting Pleadings including petitions, statements of claim and affidavits. Researching on Clients’ cases; Preparing Clients’ correspondences; Taking instructions from clients with the guidance of my pupil master Maintaining pleadings and clients' documents and records in their appropriate files; Diarizing court dates and other important schedules; Maintaining Clients’ files in a proper state; Drafting commercial documents including leases and sale agreements.

My responsibilities included, Monitoring and documenting human rights’ violations through the Commission’s human rights’ network and community-based organizations; Participating in peaceful marches in protest of human rights violations. Drafting legal opinions on emerging human rights’ issues; Advising clients on legal issues during legal aid clinics and awareness sessions; Participated in creating awareness to women on their political rights Documenting work-related grievances arising in partner organizations; Participated in developing effective Gender Policies and Grievance Handling Mechanisms for partner organizations; Compiling reports of awareness programs; Developing survey tools for fact finding missions on human rights’ violations; Achievements:1. I contributed in the development of the ‘Training Module On The Labour Rights Legal Framework in Kenya’ by Kenya Human Rights Commission. I participated in a peaceful match protesting violence against women by duty bearers after the Member of Parliament for Central Imenti , Gideon Mwiti, was accused of raping a female journalist.
