I developed a passion for supply chain while attending Michigan State University, where I obtained a supply chain management bachelors degree from the #1 supply chain university in the country with a 3.7 GPA. While attending MSU, I was active in the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) in order to gain expert industry knowledge. I would regularly visit industry leaders at their facilities as well as host them on campus. While also a student, I would spend my summers working internships in order to gain tangible experience to prepare me for a career in supply chain.I am currently a Logistics Manager for Ryder Systems, responsible for the operational and financial performance of an account with over $50M+ in annual supply chain spend. On top of these responsibilities, I am in charge of a small team of direct reports, where I am passionate about developing my team to reach their personal and career goals through creating development plans and hosting weekly 1-1 meetings with team members.Moving forward in my career, I plan to continue in a management position, while expanding my horizons and leaning into more of a technical/software side of the industry. I look forward to connecting with likeminded individuals on this platform to assist with career progression or to just talk industry topics in general. In my spare time, my passions include skiing, playing recreational hockey, and golf.
