CurrentLead balance of plant project execution activities for extended scope mechanical equipment and services for GE Derivative Gas Turbine projects globally. • Responsibilities included contract review, procurement planning, specification development, RFQ’s, bid evaluations, and managing all project execution related activities from procurement to field startup.• Share responsibility in all phases of multiple projects for 25 -500 MW Aeroderivative GT Power Plant projects through conceptual design, detailed design, construction, and field startup. • Contributed to diagnoses and issue resolution with installed equipment during commissioning.• Take part in technical and commercial risk reviews to mitigate project risk.• Developed procurement plans, equipment specifications, and RFQ’s for complete power plant mechanical systems (e.g. fuel gas conditioning, liquid fuel treatment). water treatment, exhaust stacks, emissions control modules and emission monitoring (CEMS) systems.• Ensure equipment was in accordance with applicable international, regional and country codes and standards.• Manage third party engineering firms, EPC’s, and equipment suppliers to meet project deliverable milestones. Coordinated internal and external multi-discipline project engineering tasks of global project team• Participate in customer order definition meetings to define contractual obligations and address client technical inquiries• Trained and mentored new colleagues
