While attending Western Kentucky University I made tons of memories and enjoyed being a hilltopper. But in my final year I realized I wanted to change careers. But I had zero idea of where to start. I began asking questions about any active-duty orders for my unit and they had nothing. Then one day while working at Hilligans an army vet told me about this program that allows vets to get free education in the technology industry. And from that point on I knew that was my sign. I instantly began applying for the program and the school I wanted to get my cyber career started at! And that's when I found FullStack Academy. I am currently enrolled in their Cybersecurity program where I am learning the basics of Linux, Wireshark, Python, and red and blue team capabilities. The course is amazing, and I have also begun studying for my SEC+ certification. I am super excited for this journey in the Cybersecurity realm. And I am thrilled that I am able to bring all of my skills from other jobs, and education along with me on this journey!
