Tasked include processing service requests and aligning these with operational need, labour availability, budget and workload, using a solution focussed approach to successfully juggle various complex tasks at any one time (20-30+) Utilising vendor relationships to ensure excellent service provision, procurement and equipment supply and adhering to detailed 28/84 day primavera work plans, problem solving any unplanned events. Liaising with a variety of construction personnel across multiple disciplines and producing reports and conducting process audits to ensure quality service in line with strict high-end health and safety standards.

North Cormorant Platform, North Sea

Wood Group-PSN as an offshore and onshore materials controller on Taqa Bratani’s North Cormorant and Eider platforms. My job is to coordinate and manage all engineering materials according to the platforms requirements as well as supporting the ongoing Causeway tie-back project.

In 2007 I began working with Sea Harris carrying out passenger excursions to St Kilda off the west coast of Harris. Having successfully gained my commercially endorsed coastal skippers ticket in 2008 I skippered the vessel during the 2008 season and I still work as a relief worker to this day, providing staff cover at weekends.

I took up post with Supply Technologies Ltd (previously called NABS Europe) in 1997 whereupon I progressed from being a Warehouse Worker to becoming to becoming the company’s European Account Coordinator in the space of 8 years. Within my first year of joining the company I delivered a stock replenishment programme for the electronics manufacturer OKI which gained their Number-1 Supplier Award. After delivering similar inventory management systems for our remaining clients including IBM, my position within the company evolved into a total supply chain management role in which I was involved in every aspect of the business.In 2001 I began working alongside the quality and procurement team in order to make the business ISO 9001:2000 compliant. This work equipped me with valuable database and process management skills which then saw me expedite these same process to our satellite location in Ireland.Having successfully gained ISO accreditation for the company, I began working with a failing company location in Dublin and given the task of identifying and implementing necessary changes to improve productivity. After the company secured a major contract supplying components for the production of Dell computers in Limerick, I designed a consigned inventory management programme to cater for the client’s requirements whilst remaining compliant with the ISO standard.In January 2003, I moved into the role of Customer Support Co-ordinator for all of the company’s European Clients. My job was to improve delivery targets and to expand the business within our existing client base as well as developing new business within the UK and mainland Europe. After applying comprehensive supply chain management processes which fully utilised the company’s “Lawson ERP System”, our delivery performance and customer service was dramatically improved and resulted in an increase in new business which saw our European revenue increase by 13% and at an increased profit margin.
