Director
CurrentI founded Hatcham Communications in 2015, leading on media relations and public relations for the London Symphony Orchestra in the UK and internationally. Acting as de facto Head of Press for the Orchestra, I led on the campaign launching Sir Simon Rattle's tenure as LSO Music Director in 2017 which delivered unprecedented coverage for a UK orchestra, working closely with key partner organisations and a leading arts PR agency. Bringing to the role more than 12 years' experience of working in the classical music sector, I continued to develop relationships with a wide range of contacts in the press and media internationally. I also provided valuable expertise in crisis communications, editorial matters, and corporate tone of voice, and worked closely with the Orchestra's management as well as promoters, venues, artists and other key music industry stakeholders across the world. At Hatcham Communications I have also led the UK & US press campaign for the Verbier Festival for four years, including its 25th Anniversary edition and delivered a broad range of excellent coverage. This involved managing key media on the ground at the Festival as well as working remotely in London on the delivery of the early campaign. Other clients have included the Edinburgh International Festival, Nash Ensemble, focused on its annual Residency at London's Wigmore Hall, the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition, Intermusica, and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
