LM Operation Support (April- November 2022)- Performance & Analytics, Compliance, Claims & Backlogs and Transformation Management

Department Manager:- Direct reporting to the Country Managing Director.- Oversee the whole operation of Transport and Warehouse with 37 organic staff and 28 contractual workers (Janitors, Messenger & Guard). Warehouse with a total area of 20,000SQM (15,000sqm covered & 5,000sqm open space) and manages 70 fleet (L300, 4W, 6W, 6WF, 10W & Tractor). - Attend weekly senior management meeting and report department accomplishment.- Responsible to achieve monthly set revenue by the region.- Attend quality, safety and security audit by the customers.- Weekly meeting with the department Assistant Managers and supervisors.- Monthly review of KPI with department Assistant Managers and Supervisors for different customers at the warehouse. - To send monthly accomplishment report including total inbound, outbound, cycle count inventory, total pallet position to On-line Regional/Global CL& D operation network of UTi. - Provide monthly CL& D Snap Shot (budget comparison of previous and current month, business trend) to the Country Managing Director and APAC CL& D Director base in Victoria, Australia.- Establish procedure and work instruction to convert to achievable individual KPI.Other Role: Solution & Implementation Manager- Direct reporting to Country Managing Director and dotted line to APAC Business Solution Director based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.- Head of the implementation team.- Provide feasibility study to prospective customer together with the Sales team.- Provide costing and customize design layout of facility.- Prepare schedule and oversee the actual work execution including build to suit facility construction and overall logistics.- Weekly coordinate meeting with the whole implementation team.- Provide accomplishment report base on the given timelines.

• Day-to-day Transport & Warehouse Activities:- Oversee overall transport operation (dispatch and delivery).- Do MBW (Management by walking).- Provide direct instruction to transport supervisor and dispatchers.- Coordinate with import & export department for truck allocation and other possible trucking requirements needed by external customers.- Random checking of inbound & outbound shipment (due for delivery, for transfer, export air & sea, import air & sea including cargoes that requires special handling/project cargo). - Ensure the implementation of cargo consolidation during dispatch & delivery.- Direct interfacing with customers concerning Transport.- Hold regular tool box meeting & re-orientation with truckers (driver & helpers).- Prepare and update trucking rate based on the latest prevailing competitive rate in the industry.

• Design & Feasibility Phase:- Provide initial design sketches, layout & rough estimate of the project.- Provide complete architectural & engineering drawing, bill of materials and specification ready for building permit application.- Processing of building permits.• Construction & Project implementation Phase: - Provide Bar Chart and project timelines.- Coordinate with local government and private provider for the immediate installation of utilities such as power & water supply.- Provide skilled workers during construction.- Project Site Supervision.- Daily monitoring of accomplishment based on the given timelines.- Provide shaft drawing and details if there’s a revision requested by the owner to implement.- Prepare report and percentage of accomplishment.- Processing of occupancy permit upon completion of the project.
