As an Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) IPA, I am tasked with performing research and modeling and simulation on the DoD Services medical networks with the goal of determining the "as is" architecture. Once that architecture is established, a "to be" architecture can be mod/sim'd to simulate the best way ahead for Sr Level decisions on medical data center consolidation. The model will use a government directed COTS modeling suite known as OPNET. Part of the job has been to DISA STIG the required hardware so that Authority To Test authorization can be obtained for the live medical networks.

Enabled a 75% increase in detection capabilities of malware on the USAF Network via the development of countermeasures for USAF and joint-level cyber operators.- Managed development projects to include cost/schedule/performance and contract monitoring; Planned, organized, and coordinated contracting, development, program control, configuration management, and testing; formalized requirements into proper specifications.
