CIG is a privately-funded international non-profit organisation headquartered in Singapore, supporting governments to build capabilities in highly practical ways. As Managing Director, I oversee all corporate matters, including corporate strategy, and the development of practically-oriented knowledge products, including the Chandler Good Government Index.

The Chandler Academy is the training arm of CIG. In this role, I led and was responsible for the deliverables and outcomes for the Academy. This included the design and delivery of training programmes, and forming productive partnerships with governments all over the world.

Led a team of over 40 persons to develop policies in areas such as waste management and recycling, public cleanliness and hygiene, and environmental protection. Key achievements included the development of the inaugural Singapore Green Plan, and implementation of the Singapore Eco Fund.

THE is a UK-headquartered education services company. As part of the founding team for the consultancy business unit based in Hong Kong, I provided expert advice to university leaders on institutional performance benchmarking and building strong university brands, informed by data and evidence.

SkillsFuture Singapore is the government agency in charge of skills development and continuing education and training. Holding a concurrent appointment at the Ministry of Education, I led 2 teams of over 40 persons.Key achievements included the design of Singapore's SkillsFuture strategy and roadmap, as well as a successful institutional re-organisation of the former Workforce Development Agency to form two separate organisations with complementary mandates.

Formulated policies pertaining to law enforcement and regulatory compliance in Singapore

Developed and administered licensing regime for the casino industry in Singapore.

Formulated national policies for Singapore's publicly-funded university sector, in areas including fees and funding, autonomy and governance structures. My team laid the foundation for the establishment of the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
