Responsible for the development and maintenance of tools to improve efficiencies with the PDS department and for Acumen conversion, Spectrum Conversion and the MPE/iX to HP-UX migrations. Oversight of the Conversion Programming and eSolutions Implementation departments. Involved with several standards committees.

Responsible for providing technical analysis of a Financial Institutions infrastructure, as they become a Summit client. This analysis starts during the RFP time and lasts through to transition into the normal support organization.

Assumed the director position with responsibility for five departments that provide support and services in the information technology field. This organization is tasked with providing support and services to Summit’s clients and level-three support for internal departments. Provided overall guidance for System Support, Network Service, Disaster Recovery, Resource Management and MIS.

Responsible for an escalation team that provided support for the MPE/iX, HP-UX, UNISYS and Linux operating systems, all third party products and hardware issues for over 300 computer systems. Also responsible for the system management of all development systems and Online productions systems. Continually worked on or managed major projects such as moving of corporate offices and Online data centers; and implementation of Internet based financial services for financial industry. In recent years a major portion of this position has been in the design, implementation and support high security Internet applications.Assumed responsibly for Summit’s disaster recovery subscription service, which provided Hot Site recovery to our 200+ turnkey clients. This involved contract negotiations, new product/services development, marketing and pricing of those services.

Employed to analyze system performance of internal and client owned computer systems, and make recommendation to improve the overall efficiency of the systems. This can entail procedural changes and/or hardware upgrades.Worked as technical support for Hewlett/Packard MPE/iX and MPE/V operating systems, including subsystem and proactive patch management for over 160 clients. I was the primary system manager for several internal systems.I provided both software and hardware support for the company’s PC’s. This included the design and implementation of the internal LAN.

Employed as a manager responsible for the scheduling, assignment and technical support of the conversion programming department. Provided ongoing development/enhancement of conversion programming tools and libraries.

Employed as a programmer analyst to develop a suite of programs that would convert the databases from other Credit Union processors to the databases used by Summit’s SPECTRUM credit union package.

Employed as a programmer analyst primarily dealing with customer support and product maintenance and enhancement on the Qantel computer line.
