About Kenneth Y. Wee

Kenneth is a budding design and futures researcher. He is committed to helping others imagine and create better worlds through human-centered design and critical thinking—first through editorial work, then cultural studies, and now design research, strategic foresight, and developmental coaching.Prior to his move into design and futures, he worked in strategy, market research, content design, and editorial with data storytellers and niche tech startups, digital publishers, universities, and market research agencies. His strengths are in using empathy, research, and language to help clients understand and meet the needs of those they serve while growing into their own voices. In his free time, Kenneth brews coffee and dabbles in movement arts. Coffee reminds him of how the simplest sensory experiences can gather and connect. Movement exploration allows him to savour the wonder of trying and not-knowing, in a world where growth is too often defined by achievement.Currently thinking about: Trauma-informed and affective futures, futures capacity building, transition design, postcapitalism, developmental coaching
