Primary staff officer responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising sustainment operations in support of units within the 30th ABCT by managing all classes of supply, lodging, internal and external GSA, organic, and commercial transportation assets, monitoring maintenance operations, coordinating with the property book officer in order to (IOT) manage the property book and account for $833,417,866 of equipment. Responsible for monitoring and improving key logistics readiness review (LRR) metrics IOT meet state and national logistics readiness goals. Participates in the military decision making process (MDMP) with the endstate of developing and implementing bold, innovative logistics action plans in support of training, domestic and international contingencies.

Principal staff officer for matters concerning training, operations, plans, force development and modernization. Responsible for developing and implementing the organizations training program, preparing training guidance, identifying, forecasting and procuring the organizations training requirements and resources based on continuous assessment. Develops and distributes the organizations key operations plans, orders, and guidance in order to inform employees of the commander’s vision, organizational goals and objectives. Monitor’s and assesses employee position qualification completion rate, the organizations training proficiency level, and other key metrics.I also serve a dual role as the Organizations Administrative Officer: As the Battalion Administrative Officer I represent the battalion commander and it is my primary duty and responsibility to ensure his intent and objectives are met, by ensuring our battalion is at the highest state of readiness with personnel, equipment and training, in order to ensure our units are ready to deploy in support of state and/or federal missions.

Served as the organization's senior human resources manager. Monitored personnel readiness for over 450 employees which included records management, medical readiness, employee benefits, pay, retirement, employee leave, promotions, evaluations, and awards. Developed policies, procedures, and strategies to keep the organization on course to meet critical aim points, while monitoring key personnel metrics. Supervised the daily operation of the human resources office, ensuring first class customer service was provided, products were accurate, and deadlines were met. Conducted routine training to keep employees abreast of changes in policies and procedures. Managed the equal opportunity program for the organization.

Principle duty was to attract and recruit highly qualified personnel to serve as commissioned officers in the NCARNG. Conducted recruiting presentations at universities, career fairs, and employment workshops around the US. Developed marketing strategies, monitored attrition and accession trends in order to identify critical patterns and revise/redirect recruiting and retention efforts. Conducted continuous program assessment and refinement to ensure the focus remained on the target market group.
