I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at the University of Wyoming. I study how people integrate technology into their sexual lives. My research has used qualitative and mixed-methods and has been published in both peer-reviewed journals and public outlets.I was the Managing Editor for the open access peer-reviewed journal Socius: Sociological Research for a Dynamic World. In my role as Managing Editor I was responsible for processing more than 200 manuscript submissions annually, finding peer reviewers, evaluating papers that use a range of methodologies, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the journal. I also managed the journal's social media presence, where I increased the journal's followers threefold.
