Aided in the coordination of 15 global Executive leaders and facilitated the management of technical and business-related issues within Global Engineering.Managed the Operations cadence including coordination of key global meetings and management and reporting of global organizational performance metrics, Developed internal and external communication strategies to support speaking engagements, including media events. Led special project studies and problem-solving events to drive resolution of business-critical issues. Led development of the annual Global Engineering business plan and global resource deployment strategies.

Supervised 40+ UAW production workers in the plant’s Trim Department, producing the F-150 pickup truck

Led vehicle sensitivity reduction efforts on the Harley Davidson F-150 pickup truck Torque-On-Demand (TOD) system. Developed the vehicle NVH targets for the ‘06MY and ‘07MY F-150, which were approved by senior leadership.

Lead system engineer for the 2005 F-150 pickup truck 4.2L engine cooling system. Established fundamental system design to achieve required performance targets. Developed Engineering Design documentation including, FMEA and DVP and supported development of PFMEA and manufacturing control plans.Identified root cause and developed corrective design actions to resolve a major quality issue with the Ranger pickup truck 2.3L engine cooling system; engineered solution provided a 98% improvement in the number of defect claims in vehicles after 12 months in service

Co-led the Design, Validation, and Release of Ford’s first Hybrid Powertrain Motor and Electronics cooling system. Awarded an Excellence Award at the First Annual Vehicle Engineering Technical Excellence TMM awards in 2004 for work done on the Hybrid Escape cooling system.

• Conducted market viability study and developed entrance strategy for North American introduction of the Transit commercial van. Results of viability study were presented to a company officer and led to cycle plan action.

Steering and Suspension Launch Leader at Louisville Assembly Plant—the single point of contact for all design related issues and coordinating with Dearborn, Michigan-based engineering teams to support the new vehicle launch process.

Revised and launched a new child seat tether anchor strategy that provided free installation of tether anchors at all Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealerships. Assisted in development of a Corporate Child Safety strategy including compilation and editing the final Child Safety strategy document that received senior management approval.

Managed all aspects of project employing intelligent control strategies and thermal mass energy storage to reduce operational utility costs by 30% at the Ameritech Headquarters building in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Design/Development Engineer--Product design responsibility for temperature, humidity, and flow controls (20 product lines) at the Goshen Manufacturing Facility.
