I set priority for and performed a variety of projects for this division of NSLP. Tasks included:• Analyzing the impact of variables on student loan default rates for over 40 colleges, culminating in writing reports and presenting results and recommendations in person or via the web to groups as big as 40+ college administrators.• Creating logic to graphically display on the web a college’s student loan default rate as the loan cohort ages.• Locating and retrieving external data, including writing Access databases to compile various data (e.g., FAFSA counts, Title IV volume, IPEDS, NSLDS), locating and logging competitor intel.• Proposed a few new products/services including one based on statistical modeling. • Assisted a few college financial aid administrators in designing surveys for their students. • Writing a white paper on the impact of the transition from two-year to three-year default rates and guiding on how a college could create a default management plan.• Beginning in late summer 2018, while phasing out the duties above, established protocol for the department's new JIRA-based job ticketing system, wrote policy and procedure/training documentation and provided technical support and testing for the company’s financial aid verification service and software.

I supported a fiber optic project that spanned from East St. Louis, IL to Kansas City, MO. The main office was in surburban St. Louis while site offices were spread across the state of Missouri. When the on-site part of the project was closing down, I moved to Omaha and supported wrap up of this and other similar projects. My duties included processing payroll and payables, completing cost reports and supporting the engineers and project leaders.
