As a Sr. Training Consultant for a project for the U.S. State Department, I was responsible for two key areas. The first was to provide three-time weekly train-the-trainer sessions in Allscripts TouchWorks v.21. These sessions were conducted to immerse new trainers in all of the functionality for the EHR. •I provided at the elbow support (ATE) for Epic 2019 ambulatory and inpatient providers via remote access (VMware Horizon & phone through Five9). •Due to the outbreak of Covid19, this was the first virtual go-live support of its kind, which presented a unique set of challenges. Supporting provider’s virtually required using verbal ques and very descriptive instructions.•In instances where I was unable to provide immediate answers, I entered tickets into SharePoint and followed-up with the providers.•I was part of a larger team of support which allowed me to both draw on their knowledge and share my own. This proved very beneficial for the more than three hundred providers that I supported.
