The Resource Assistance for Rural Environments AmeriCorps Program team's assistant works within the Institute for Policy Research and Engagement to help us better serve rural Oregon. Our fast-paced and energetic team places the next generation of change-makers in rural communities across the state of Oregon to take on meaningful and catalytic placed-based projects, all with the focus of increasing the vitality and vibrancy of communities we serve.Duties:- Update the program's WordPress site- Create and modify surveys in Qualtrics- Manage social media posts (specifically LinkedIn)- Book lodging, catering, and venues for member trainings- Collaborate with RARE members in the field to uphold the program's mission- Work with other staff members to recruit new hosts and members

- Wrote more than 100 SEO articles that helped move my company's clients' sites to Google's front page - Increased traffic to my company's clients' sites by 20 percent by incorporating keyword research and heading/subheading positioning to promote businesses across many industries such as construction, entertainment, or self-defense

Evaluated RPA Tools between Automation Anywhere and Uipath, as opposed to Hyland RPA who already has contracts with the organization. I focused mostly on the beginner tutorials, ease of IDE setup, and general UI/UX.

- Built a Robot Process Automation bot for Safelite AutoGlass to authorize single-use credit cards for techs in the field, which cut the process time by 50% - Met with business and security stakeholders along the way to analyze the needs of the bot and presented my project with workflow diagrams and use cases - Gathered requirements and added projects to Jira so that developers could work on them - Implemented Windows Installer for Wendy’s to install program updates - Nominated the company on my own for the “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals by Columbus Young Professionals” award, which they won - Won the “Puts Team First” award for consistently working well with team members

- Along with my team, wrote software using the .NET platform that allowed our client undergraduate and MBA students to apply for jobs using our company’s web application - Worked with business analysts to gather requirements and perform gap analyses - Led the run team and mentored entry-level developers - Worked with stakeholders to prioritize defects - Reduced defects by 10% - Became subject matter expert in cleaning up data for undergraduate schools using SQL scripts - Closed more than one thousand support cases - Wrote articles for the knowledge base in Confluence

Process tax and child support levies for the Court Orders and Levies department. Maintain high privacy standards for minimal customer impact. Assist with the processing of court orders and information subpoenas/restraining notices when needed. Suggest improvements to current operations technology.

Contributed to the community by recruiting volunteers for mission-critical needs.

Served as a program assistant to foster nurturing mentor/mentee relationships for local youth. Planned events, wrote press releases, updated databases, and performed administrative tasks for this two-person program.
