It's humbling to think about my journey from a school staff member and community advocate to a workshop facilitator with over 500 workshops a year and counting. I found a passion for helping people succeed by working with children. I worked with children for 10+years. It was a tremendous satisfaction to see children and their families progressing. My passion led me to become a community advocate. As a community advocate, I was elected President of The Far Eastside Weed & Seed Initiative (a grant program from the Department of Justice) which resulted in me being awarded by the Mayor of Indianapolis for my volunteerism. It was this that helped me discover a love for not just children but people. I delight in sharing insight and knowledge; I enjoy hearing the success stories of others and being apart of the story. My workshops cover topics like: interviewing, job searches, computer skills, resume writing, career changes, starting a business and non-profit sector experience. *Received a "Volunteerism Award" from Greg Ballard, Major of Indianapolis. *Created campaigns, presentations, and marketing materials for various organizations.#workforcedevelopment #careercoach #resumewriting
