Design practice is evolving from a document production business to an information management business. My passion is to lead that change and to contribute to a highly successful business.The practice of the future serves clients with outstanding design and delivery as its core value proposition, delivered by an efficient operation, and leveraged by technology. As CIO, I provide strategic leadership, innovation development, and operations management with an emphasis on leveraging and integrating technology.Marketing, Design, Delivery, and Management are the four cornerstones of a successful practice. All are informed by data and supercharged by technology. All are enhanced by structured process and organized information.Technology operations has two responsibilities. First is to create the environment for the staff to creatively and effectively design and deliver projects. Second is to operate that environment in a way that achieves the strategic goals of the organization, while balancing overhead costs -- drive innovation while maintaining an appropriate level of spending.Technology is inherently complex. My secret to success is to continually strive for simplicity.I have implemented solutions in most of the current technology frontiers including knowledge management, social, business intelligence, ERP, CRM, HCM, PIM, BIM, IPD, virtualization, cloud services, mobility, unified communications, outsourcing, custom development, security, and managed print services.
