The responsibilities range from marking and recording pieces of work completed by the students which has to be done in a fast manner to listening to them read and helping them with mental maths. Furthermore I sometimes have to supervise the younger or new students and watch them.

My main responsibility is working in the Oldham District Nurses Single Point of Access. This is basically a call centre whereby I answer phone calls from the general public who are looking for the assistance of a district nurse. My key tasks are answering calls which will be to book appointments in clinic for patients or taking messages which are then passed over to nurses to arrange home visits for the patient. Other responsibilities are scanning and upload correspondences and referral documents which are faxed into the office, I then upload them onto the universal computer system so all records are present and up to date.

I was hired as a part of the temporary team for the Christmas period. The responsibilities I had to completed were widely varied but all had to be completed efficiently and in a very busy, hectic environment. My roles consisted of working on the tills whereby I had responsibility over the public and company's money. I worked at the front of house whereby I demonstrated the shop's products and persuaded customers to buy them. Also I worked in security and I had to be vigilant as theft was rife at that period of the year. Furthermore I worked back of house, either picking products to be sent to the floor from the back storeroom or the basement.
