Cove Builders is a company that was started in 2020 after I sold the prior business I owned to my partner. The prior business was called Home Building and Remodeling Experts, HBRE. HBRE started as a home flipping business and quickly turned into a full service remodeling and custom building company. When I sold HBRE in 2019, the company had grown to 70 remodel projects annually and about $6.5M in business. In 2020, I started Cove Builders. We built about 55 homes from 2020 to the end of 2022 all over the Twin Cities metro. Cove was a fun learning experience and the team we built was a lot of fun. In 2023 we shifted our focus back to rehabbing homes and rentals and the company no longer builds directly for clients and only remodels to resell or will rehab and hold the homes as rental properties.

I helped the tenant representation team to build relationships for our strategic clients. I was a junior guy on the team, but learned a ton from some great mentors and developed life long relationships.

Inventory analysis for 25 warehouses, managing inventory valued at ~$60M annually, using three inventory management systems. This was a great business to work with and be a part of as my first gig out of college. I developed some life long relationships and learned some skills that helped me grasp what it means to build culture in an organziation hat a high level.
