About Keri Holzman
In addition to a robust classroom teaching career, I have led my current third grade team to be models for data collection and analysis, implementation of instruction, unpacking of reading, writing, math, and phonics standards, development of essential standards, efficiency in ASL, strategic planning of all academic units including STEAM, creating a team culture of care and high expectations, and facilitating a collaborative environment. An example of data driven work is collaborating with administration on data collection in EduClimber through common formative assessments strategically placed throughout units of study in reading, writing, math, and phonics. Through the Analyzing Student Data process, Tier II interventions take place on a weekly basis and growth is seen across the grade level. Common Formative Assessments and unit planning have become the backbone of our work. In the summer of 2023 I was given the opportunity to attend the PLC institute in Chicago which was a transformative experience in my career. I also am on several committees such as Literacy, SP100, Guiding Coalition, and Grading for Learning and Equity.
