I have been practicing yoga since 1994. I began my journey into yoga while studying art in Florence, Italy. My informal training was at Ferndale School of Yoga in the Detroit Metro Area. My formal training was with Inner Power Yoga through which I completed a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instruction certification. As an artist I approach yoga in a manner similar to the act of creative expression; "use your tools, build your skills, practice the flow, breathe through the intensity and celebrate the results". I teach a yoga practice method that combines elements of the Ashtanga and Iyengar methods. I lead my students through a practice that will build strength, increase flexibility and apply stress management skills.
