It's all about relationships. Vertically with God and horizontally with others. Followup. Small Groups. Pastoral Care. Discipleship. Team Dynamics. Hospitality. My calling is to connect people relationally. I do this through what I call "The Hustle", calling, emailing, texting, messaging guests and connecting them to a "next step" in their faith journey. I do followup with guests and with people that have missed for multiple weeks.Small Groups are a huge focus for me. Training and equipping leaders and hosts to engage their small group is a high priority. Everything that the church embodies can be linked to a Small Group, if the group is simply loving God and loving others. Another segment of Small Groups are Interest Groups. A lot of people may not come to a Small Group setting but will engage in a passion that they have for a sport or hobby. Interest Groups connect people at the beginning while Small Groups connect people and sustain them indefinitely.Pastoral Care is very important. Seeing people in the hospital, nursing homes and those that are shut-in goes a long way in bringing joy to people that are situationally sad and/or depressed. Pastoral Care also includes pre-marital counseling for weddings and grief counseling for funerals. Discipleship is another passion. Growing and maturing people in their faith. One on one, in a small group or in a large group setting, either way, as long as people aren't remaining the same or becoming stagnant in their faith. Team Dynamics includes all groups, schedules and trainings for Hospitality Team. This includes: Hosts, Ushers and Security Team. I lead, facilitate, schedule and train team members to fulfill the call God has placed on each of their lives. The call to serve with the talents and abilities God has given to each of us is of high significance. The point of this life is to save people, disciple them and repeat.
