Instruct second grade in a bilingual school to second language learners, designing and developing instruction to meet the diverse needs of the students. Awareness and attention put towards backwards planning, first stressing the standards to be met and then developing proper lessons as well as inquiry based units in order to meet those standards. Collaborate bilingually with parents, principal, psychologist, and academic support.

15-week internship in a first grade, general education classroom. Spent first 8 weeks in an English classroom and second 7 weeks spent in a Spanish classroom. Designed and implemented all lessons while demonstrating responsibilities of a full-time teacher in all academic Areas.

Gospel Choir: Rehearsed, performed, and worshiped with the student-led Gospel Choir at Hope CollegePhonathon Hope College Hope Fund Caller: Called alumni, parents, and friends of Hope College to converse and to ask for donations to the Hope Fund.Coffee Shop Attendant: Made and served coffee drinks and other beverages to college students and faculty. Dance 34 & 35: Auditioned and rehearsed for faculty-choreographed dance pieces for the 34th and 35th annual dance concert performance series.Student Dance Concert: Rehearsed and performed student-choreographed dance pieces. Orientation Assistant: Welcomed new students into the Hope community. Co-led three, small group sessions with 8-12 new students to help students adjust to college life.
