Kerri has over 30 years of experience in the coffee industry and is actively involved in the non-profit sector. She specializes in establishing connections among professionals in the industry, ranging from farmers and roasters to retailers and suppliers. Since 1996, Kerri has served on the boards of distinguished organizations such as Grounds for Health, Cup for Education, The International Women's Coffee Alliance, The Songbird Foundation, and The CoffeeTalk Foundation. Moreover, she has been an active participant in various committees for the SCAA for more than 25 years, including the Retailer Committee, Membership Development, Volunteer Development, and Tech Standards & Statistics. Notably, Kerri chaired the Viral Marketing committee for the NCA's 100th Annual Conference and organized coffee education for NAMA's first-ever Origin Trip to Costa Rica in February 2013. She played a pivotal role in planning and executing the IWCA El Salvador International Conference in 2011, the IWCA Promoting Possibilities African Women's Conference in 2009, and the IWCA First International Women's Conference in Costa Rica in 2008. Additionally, Kerri completed CQI's Women's Leadership Program in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Japan in 2005 and 2006.In recognition of her contributions, Kerri was honored with the Distinguished Publisher/Author Award from the SCAA in 2009. Furthermore, she received the SCAA Best New Product Award and the Coffee Fest Best New Product Award (New York) in 2012. Kerri earned her Q-Grader certification in 2011 and was bestowed with Infusionsoft's Industry Innovator Award in March 2012 for her groundbreaking marketing practices. Kerri embarked on her coffee journey in 1993 as a co-author of Java U Business Basics, an extensive guide on opening a coffee house operation.
