As the face of the Coles Quality Academy (CQA), I work closely with Coles Brand and technical team members, and supply base to map out their job specific training needs. In partnership with a leading RTO I have developed a suite of face to face training courses. June 2014 we launched the CQA connect, which is the 1st Australian retailer lead trainng portal. Which offers a suite of interactive online training courses, webinars, industry updates, etc. This role enables me to entwine my technical & industry knowledge with my education expertise.

I developed, implemented and managed a number of Coles sustainability programs such as 'No added hormone beef' auditing program, etc. I oversaw the day to day running of the Coles Approved Supplier program. I audited Coles suppliers for food safety and quality standards as part of our approved supplier program. I audited and coached suppliers when issues arose such as the floods in Queensland, recalls, etc.

Managed food safety for the Coles supermarkets chain nationally. Integrated all the states food safety programs into 1 national program. Implemented compliance record keeping documents for the stores. Approved new store designs ensuring they met food standards code. Managed the food safety team.
