I am a researcher that creates muscle in the lab from human cells that structurally and functionally mimics your own muscle. With these bioengineered tissues not only can we can study disease, injury, exercise and rehabilitation in muscle like yours, we can provide an alternative route to drug discovery, reducing animal testing and increasing the number of drugs that make it to market.I am currently part of an ICURe cohort looking to talk to companies in the drug discovery, pharmaceutical, cultured meat, biotechnology and nutraceuticals sectors about the future potential of our technology.
