We understand that disputes between landlords and tenants can be complex and expensive. We see litigation as a last resort. We are in the business of resolving disputes and always look at the matter from a commercial point of view so as to identify ways of dealing with the problem, quickly, commercially and in a cost effective way.We are an innovative bunch using a specialist case management tool to help streamline many of the necessary processes involved in resolving a matter. We believe in working with our clients and place great emphasis on getting to know how our client’s business works and what is important to them.I have worked at DMH Stallard for my entire professional career (fairly unusual I expect!). I started life as a paralegal trailing around the local (and sometimes not so local) County Courts. From a trainee I worked my way up to Associate and as of June 2012 became Partner in the Real Estate Dispute Resolution group. I spent the first 6 years of my career working for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, mostly dealing with possession, nuisance and disrepair claims. Since 2006 I have specialised in commercial landlord and tenant matters including rent arrears, dilapidations, rent reviews, breach of covenant cases and insolvency issues.
