My current role involves general administration duties such as opening and sorting the incoming post, general typing for the General Manager and all Heads of Departments producing documents of a high standard and in a timely manner, minute taking at all meetings, dealing with customer complaints, responsible for all health and safety within the office.

I moved to NEMS in order to further my career within the Personnel/Human Resources environment. But felt the role was not stimulating enough. During my time here my duties included absence monitoring for all staff, placing advertisements in local and national press, sending out recruitment packs, sitting on the interview panel in a Human Resources capacity.

I started at The Nottingham Belfry in January 2006 and was involved in the opening of the Hotel. My role was very similar to what it is today although I have progressed and expanded my role since returning in 2008.
