Mr. Grimm has over 40 years of engineering and construction experience in the nuclear power industry. Currently, as a procedure writer in the Maintenance Procedure Group at Luminant Generating Company’s Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), has responsibility for maintaining certain Maintenance Department calibration and administrative procedures, development of select new instrument calibration procedures, technical reviews of various calibration and surveillance procedures, as assigned, and for maintaining the site Instrument & Controls (I&C) Maintenance Data Sheet program. These responsibilities also include design modification review and input to ensure Maintenance Department procedure and program impacts are identified and addressed.Mr. Grimm is also currently involved, on a part-time basis, with the CPNPP Procurement Engineering group resolving purchasing issues, performing Technical Evaluations for Replacement Items (TERIs) and assisting in the identification of potential replacement parts to resolve obsolescence issues. As a qualified I&C design engineer on site, Mr. Grimm is periodically involved directly in the preparation and/or review of select I&C related modifications, as requested.
