As Director of Conservation Social Science at the National Audubon Society, I am leading the development of its social science research program. Our research contributes directly to advancing Audubon’s strategic Flight Plan, including its habitat, climate, and community-building milestones.Before this, I was a conservation social science research consultant whose work focused on community initiatives and engagement, local ecological knowledge, collaboration, and knowledge coproduction activities. I have experience in both international and domestic (U.S.) settings and collaborated with diverse groups, including international and regional non-profits (e.g., The Nature Conservancy, MarEs Comunidad), government agencies (e.g., The Smithsonian Institution, Bureau of Indian Affairs), and universities.
