As a team we also support the financial performance of the business through ensuring pricing is correct and gate keeping margin and discount levels that meet or exceed company policy. I assist with drafting responses to tender, framework and pre-qualification questionnaires that do not already have a written answer within the KOMPAN response library, sharing with the department once completed. I am responsible for the day-to-day support and development of team members, giving guidance within the job role, demonstrating good practice, delivering feedback, and helping less experienced coordinators gain the knowledge & skills needed to be successful in their own role. This role also included coordinating bids for dedicated Area Sales Managers (ASMs) directly, chairing tender inclusion meetings and clearly defining the roles, responsibilities, and timescales for content.I participate in candidate selection and the recruitment of new Presales team members and once onboard train and support them using my experience & advice to improve quotation/ tender quality & competencies of the individuals. Once new members have completed their induction, I monitor coordinators work quality & quantity, manage and distributing work among the team of Sales Support & Bid Coordinators to ensure deadlines can be achieved within the department. Alongside training members on the Presales Department, I also support with the training & induction of new ASMs to develop an understanding of the processes and expectations of the business, ensuring they adhere to these in a clear & professional manner.I work closely with counterpart Team Leader/s of the department and other departments to share best practice and workload, looking for opportunities where a process can be redesigned for better efficiency.
