I currently have over five years of teaching experience within Years 4, 5 and 6. Teaching Experience:I have taught a range of year groups and have spent a large part of my career so far teaching Year 5 and 6. One year even included a mixed Year 5/6 class. During this time, I led the UKS2 team and was responsible for looking at data and identifying gaps in learning. This year, due to wanting to diversify my experience and extend my leadership role, I am teaching Year 4. English Lead (two years experience so far):I am responsible for Reading, Writing, Phonics and Spelling across the whole school. Our last OFSTED inspection was in December 2019 under the new framework, where I was responsible for leading the 'Reading Deep Dive.' After two previous inspections I was enthralled for our school to have been rated Good. The full inspection can be found here: https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/provider/21/140705 September 2020: I am also responsible for leading Read Write Inc Phonics and have held several CPD / coaching sessions with staff recently to embed this programme throughout our school.LKS2 Phase Leader:This year, I am leading the LKS2 Phase and have led UKS2 for the previous two years. Part of my role includes mentoring an NQT within the phase, deploying Teaching Assistants and planning interventions to cater for the needs of all children who need to catch up. I am also carrying out appraisals within the phase and feed back to SLT on a regular basis. Writing Moderator:I have been a writing moderator for my Local Authority (Dorset) and whilst doing this I carried out a range of moderating for local schools. I was also responsible for leading training in my local area on the assessment process.

Currently football coaching 3 and 4 year old children once a week. This includes working with a range of diverse children, including many with Special Educational Needs. Inclusion and fun is at the heart of everything we do at Mini Soccer Advance.
