Kerry is a multi-award winning communications leader with over 22 years of experience working with the non-profit, public and private sectors. During her career, she has provided communications services to a diverse roster of clientele in Canada and the United States. This includes over 100 organizations and government departments at the municipal and provincial levels, where she had the opportunity to work with political leaders, First Nations Chiefs and Councils, prominent media figures, corporate CEOs and senior public officials. Her work has taken her throughout Alberta and involved large-scale, multi-stakeholder public consultation initiatives regarding complex issues on topics ranging from special education and affordable housing to gang crime reduction and emergency services. She has also produced content for one of the top 10 PR blogs in the world (Solo PR Pro), as well as educational content for communications consultants across the globe. (New York-based Muck Rack featured one of her posts in their monthly top picks.)Kerry is a lifetime member (500 Club) of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), where she currently serves as Director of Mentorship on the board of the Edmonton chapter, and has completed the Foundations in Public Participation training with the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) where she is currently a member. She has previously served as the Communications Action Group Lead for the Stollery Women's Network (SWN), on the board of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) in Edmonton as Programming Co-Chair and has been a mentor with both CPRS and IABC. Kerry is also a certified practitioner in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®).
